Cyprus Investment by Direct Business
The Cyprus Investment Programme offers various options to investors in return for a business investment. The options include an investment of at least €2 million investment in financial assets of Cypriot companies which funds must be channelled towards the financing of the investment exclusively in Cyprus and based on a specific investment plan. Such companies must have proven physical presence in Cyprus, with significant activity and turnover and employ at least five (5) Cypriots or citizens of Europe.
The second option offers the possibility of investing in Cyprus Alternative Investment Funds, as well as financial assets of public Cypriot companies licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec). The investment may take the form of bonds, bills or securities issued with the approval of the CySec. Such companies must have proven physical presence and substantial economic activity in Cyprus.

One may also select alternative options such as investment in real estate, land development and infrastructure projects. With no contribution requirements, the Cyprus Investment Programme is considered to be one of the most cost-effective in the world, and the business investment route allows investors and entrepreneurs to obtain a solid return on investment.
